The Sweet Lemon Gift Shop is now open at the Poolesville Village Center (19710-C Fisher Ave.), between Subway and the Montgomery County liquor store.
The shop features quality gifts, a selection of home goods, and seasonal treats– “Gifts with a twist!”

The Sweet Lemon is a locally-owned and operated specialty gift store that aims to serve the Town of Poolesville and surrounding communities with unique, quality goods, cheerful customer service, and a joyful atmosphere.
Katie Horan (that’s me!), along with my husband and business partner, PJ Horan, have been Poolesville residents along with our three children Johnny, Christopher, and Hallie since 2014. I started my teaching career at Poolesville High School in 2005, and continue as a Staff Development Teacher at PHS (Go Falcons!) while owning and operating The Sweet Lemon (I have lots of energy!).
Inspired to provide a variety of gifts and home goods conveniently to Poolesville residents and surrounding communities, we started The Sweet Lemon to serve our town with something we felt we were missing–a local spot for a great gift that we don’t have to leave town to buy.
