- The Walt Whitman High School girls’ soccer team won the 2021-22 4A State Championships.
- Varri Higgins of Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School was named 4A State Cross Country Champion and Daisy Dastrup of Poolesville High School was named 2A State Cross Country Champion.
- The Gaithersburg High School Cross Country team won the 4A State Sportsmanship award.
