Concern for Missing Kensington Teenager

For Immediate Release: Tuesday, January 25, 2022

Gaithersburg, MD – Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Special Victims Investigations Division (SVID) are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing teenager from Kensington.

William David Asbury III, age 14, was last seen on January 21, 2022 in the 10700 block of Shaftsbury Street.

Asbury is approximately 5-feet, 9-inches tall and weighs 100 pounds. He has brown eyes, black hair and pierced ears. He was last seen wearing a gray jacket, black jeans, black shoes and carrying a red Nike backpack.

Police and family are concerned for his welfare.

According to Montgomery County Police, “A 20-year-old Capitol Heights man died Tuesday, November 28, 2023, after crashing his car into a parked vehicle on Spruell Drive.
