Trader Joe’s has announced that its second bethesda location, named “Bethesda-Downtown” will be opening on Monday, February 21st, according to the Trader Joe’s Website. It’s located at 7900 Wisconsin Avenue.

This will be Trader Joe’s fifth location in MoCo, but is notable because it will be its second in Bethesda. The existing Bethesda location, Trader Joe’s Bethesda, is located at 6381 Wisconsin Avenue just one mile down the street. We spoke with a representative from the current Bethesda store who told us there is no plan to close the location and that both will remain open.

Per the Trader Joe’s website: At Trader Joe’s Bethesda – Downtown (623), we see ourselves as your neighborhood grocery store. Step inside and you’ll find unconventional and interesting products in the Trader Joe’s label like Mandarin Orange Chicken and Cold Brew Coffee Concentrate, as well as everyday basics like milk, eggs and fresh produce. We are a good source for great cheese, and we offer a vibrant selection of fresh flowers. Most importantly, we offer all of our delicious, quality products at the very best prices. We’re happy to be part of your community, and proud to offer you unique products at prices everyone can afford. Every day.
