Update: A representative from Trader Joe’s has reached out to us to let us know the company posted the 2/21 opening date in error. We were told that an opening date has not yet been determined and it will be shared with us as soon as it is.

Trader Joe’s has announced that its second bethesda location, named “Bethesda-Downtown” will be opening on Monday, February 21st, according to the Trader Joe’s Website. It’s located at 7900 Wisconsin Avenue.

This will be Trader Joe’s fifth location in MoCo, but is notable because it will be its second in Bethesda. The existing Bethesda location, Trader Joe’s Bethesda, is located at 6381 Wisconsin Avenue just one mile down the street. We spoke with a representative from the current Bethesda store who told us there is no plan to close the location and that both will remain open.
