The City of Gaithersburg has announced that the St. Patrick’s Day Parade at Rio has been rescheduled to Saturday, March 19 due to expected inclement weather.

March 10 update:
The City of Gaithersburg in partnership with rio, will host the 20th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade at rio, at Rio Boulevard & Grand Corner Avenue on Saturday, March 12th at 10am.
Dozens of units will march in the parade, including Celtic dancers, bagpipe bands, school groups, clowns, fire trucks, equestrian units, service organizations, & more. CLICK HERE for lineup.
This year’s Grand Marshal is 2019 Distinguished Friend of Gaithersburg Mary Canapary. The parade will be emceed by Carolyn Muller, Director of Parks, Recreation and Culture.
