If green beer and whisky isn’t your thing, Improbable Comedy will be hosting a sober comedy hour on March 17 at the Black Box Theater in Downtown Silver Spring.
The event, titled “Seltzer”, will feature local comedians Elena Torres, Von Mychael, Sandi Benton and Elani Nichelle, and is hosted by Jenny Cavallero.
In addition to the live performances, you’ll be able to purchase non-alcoholic “mocktails”, with names like “The Sober Up” and “The Walk of Shamerock”.
Improbably Comedy aims to produce comedy shows focusing on groups that have traditionally be underrepresented in the world of stand-up, including women, LBGTQ+, BIPOC, and immigrant comedians, as well as performers with disabilities.
