Montgomery County Fire and Rescue units were called to the 2300 block of Grubb Road in Silver Spring at approximately 11:40am for smoke coming from the top floor of the two-level Rock Creek Village condos.
Approximately 85 firefighters were on the scene and the bulk of the the fire was knocked out out by approximately 12:20pm. The fire was out by 12:48pm.
According to MCFRS PIO Pete Piringer, there were no injuries but it’s likely that several families will be displaced.
