We stopped by the upcoming Burton’s location at 109 Commerce Square Pl in Gaithersburg and were told by management that the restaurant is scheduled to open at the end of May.
The restaurant is currently in the process of hiring and training staff, and the interior of the restaurant is almost finished.
Menu items will include braised short ribs, filet mignon, chicken risotto, and market fresh seafood. You can view the Riverdale Park location’s menu here.

This will be the first Burton’s restaurant in Montgomery County’s. They have nearby locations in Alexandria, Sterling, and Riverdale Park.
Burtons Grill and Bar opened its doors back in 2005 and offers “chef-driven, innovative local preparations, and traditional fare.” It was voted Most Allergy-Friendly Restaurant in 2019 by AllergyEats.
