Wheaton (1-1) at Frederick (2-0) – The Knights earned their 1st victory over Northwood last week 20-0.  They will travel north to take on possibly the best team in Frederick county, the Frederick Cadets.

Prediction: Frederick by 42

Clarksburg (0-2) at Wootton (0-2) – Both squads have had a tough opening pair of games.  Good news is somebody is going to get their 1st win of the season

Prediction: Clarksburg by 6

Einstein (0-2) at Whitman (0-2) The Titans have had a rough opening to the season. Expect them to get back on track this Friday.

Prediction: Einstein by 21

Poolesville (2-0) at Watkins Mill (0-2) – The Falcons QB Ashton Gaddis threw for 118 yds and 2 TDs last week. Expect similar production this week vs the Wolverines.

Prediction: Poolesville by 25

Magruder  (0-2) at Rockville (2-0) – Rams QB Josh Pasternak threw for 188 yds and 2 TDs last week.  More of the same is on tap as they host the Colonels.

Prediction: Rockville by 17

Churchill (0-2) at BCC (0-2) – Barons RB Luke Mata ran for 157 yds the loss last week. He will need a similar effort as they host a hungry Bulldog team.

Prediction: BCC by 1

Blair (2-0) at Northwood (0-2) – Blazer QB Kendall Anderson accounted for 287 yds of total offense and 5 TDs.  The West Point commit should put up even more impressive numbers this week vs the Gladiators.

Prediction: Blair by 35

Springbrook (2-0) at Paint Branch (1-1)Blue Devil Sammy John had an all around great game last week recording 2 turnovers on D and 44 yds of offense. Springbrook will need an even bigger game if they want to remain undefeated as they travel to Burtonsville.

Prediction: Paint Branch by 28

Kennedy (0-2) at Damascus (2-0)Swarmin’ Hornet Jacy Andoh-Thompson had 4 receptions for 129 yds and 1 TD last week.  Another offensive outburst is expected, as Damascus hosts JFK.

Prediction: Damascus by 35

Northwest (1-1) at Gaithersburg (1-1) – Jaguar QB Nick Holloway threw for 3 TDs last week as Northwest earned their 1st victory.  They will travel to Gaithersburg to take on the Trojans and 3 star RB, Gideon Ituka.

Prediction: Northwest by 29

Seneca Valley (2-0) at Richard Montgomery (1-1) – Screamin’ Eagle RB Jordan Hungerford ran for 100 yds and 3 TDs last week. He and the rest of the Seneca squad will look to replicate that performance as they travel to Launching Pad to take on the Rockets.

Prediction: Seneca Valley by 16

Walter Johnson (2-0) at Quince Orchard (2-0)Wildcat QB Charlie Blessing had a breakout game last week, accounting for over 200 yds of total offense and 4 TDs.  More of that will be needed as WJ travels to the Cougardome to take on the Cougars.

Prediction: Quince Orchard by 35
