Per Gaithersburg Police: On Sunday, October 9, the City of Gaithersburg Government 29th Annual Oktoberfest will be held in the Kentlands. Please plan your travels accordingly. Starting at 6:00 am, City streets will be closed and they will reopen at approximately 9:00 pm. The following streets will be affected:
– Main Street from Midtown to Market Street West
– Inspiration Lane from Main Street to Golden Ash; between Briscoe and Selby – Closed
– Inspiration Lane from Firehouse to Briscoe and Golden Ash to Selby Street – Limited access passes only access
– Firehouse Lane from Leeks lot to Inspiration Lane – Closed
– Kent Square: All
– Selby Street: All
– Kentland’s Boulevard (both circles): No 360 traffic between 1130 to 1800 hours
– Kentland’s Boulevard (cross overs): At 7-11 and Whole Foods parking lots entrances – Closed all day
– Hart Road between Golden Ash and Firehouse Lane – Limited access (pass only)
