Catonsville (2-5) at Wootton (2-5) – The Patriots earned their 2nd victory of the season beating Whitman 21-6. Wootton will host Baltimore County’s Catonsville. . . 

Prediction: Catonsville by 13       

Rockville (3-4) at Northwood (0-7)   The Rams fell to Damascus 49-6. The Gladiators lost to Paint Branch 70-0.  These squads will meet in Silver Spring on Friday.   

Prediction: Rockville by 39  . 

Watkins Mill (0-7) at Magruder (4-3) – The Wolverines lost to Kennedy 12-0. The Colonels beat Einstein 20-6. RB Dennis Peacock 105 yards of total offense and 2 TDs in the win.      

Prediction: Magruder by 22 

Clarksburg (0-7) at Gaithersburg (2-5*) – The Coyotes were defeated by BCC 40-7. Clarksburg had 203 total offense in the loss. The Trojans fell to Quince Orchard 48-8. Gaithersburg had 127 total yards in the defeat. .  .

Prediction: Gaithersburg by 21

Whitman (0-7) at BCC (3-4) – The Vikings lost to Wootton 21-6. The Barons beat Clarksburg 40-7. RB Luke Mata ran for 75 yards and 3 TDs. These 2 Bethesda rivals will meet up Friday night.     

Prediction: BCC by 28 

Blake (4-3) at Einstein (2-5) – The Bengals beat Wheaton 48-6. QB Joey Faunteroy passed for 202 yards and 4 TDs in the win. The Titans fell to Magruder 20-6. Einstein had 182 total yards of total offense in the loss.     

Prediction: Blake by 18

Wheaton (1-6) at Blair (6-1) – The Knights fell to Blake 48-6. Wheaton had 131 yards of total offense in the loss. The Blazers lost their 1st game of the season falling to Sherwood 28-22. QB Kendell Anderson had 201 yards of total offense and 2 TDs in the loss. These DCC rivals square off this Friday in Silver Spring. 

Prediction: Blair by 38

Poolesville (6-1) at Kennedy (3-4) – The Falcons lost their 1st game of the season falling to Churchill 19-0. RB Evan Taylor had 151 of total offense in the loss. The Cavaliers beat Watkins Mill 12-0.   

Prediction: Poolesville by 27 

Damascus (6-1) at Springbrook (3-4) –  The Swarmin’ Hornets beatdown Rockville 49-6. The Blue Devils fell to Winters Mill 41-14.    

Prediction: Damascus by 36

Churchill (5-2) at Richard Montgomery (3-4) – The Bulldogs got their biggest win of the season to date beating previously undefeated Poolesville 19-0. As a team Churchill had 239 yards of total offense and a staggering 5 interceptions on defense. The Rockets hung tough with Walter Johnson for 3 quarters before falling 36-20. As a team Richard Montgomery had 321 yards of total offense. These two squads will meet up in Rockville this Friday in a very intriguing matchup.  

Prediction: Churchill by 3

Walter Johnson (6-1) at Seneca Valley (5-2) – The Wildcats pulled away from Richard Montgomery for a tough win 36-20. RB Dylan Byrd rushed for 170 yards and 2 TDs in the victory. The Screamin’ Eagles lost a heartbreaker to rival Northwest 29-26, in the final minutes. A for sure battle will ensue in Germantown this Friday.. 

Prediction: Seneca Valley by 20

Sherwood (5-2) at Paint Branch (5-2) – The Warriors earned their biggest victory of the year thus far handing Blair their 1st loss of the season 28-22. RB Van Mahoney rushed for 122 yards and 1 TD in the win.  Paint Branch posted a 70 burger on Northwood. RB Marquez Weedon rushed for 91 yards and 2 TDs in the win. A big time matchup is going down in Burtonsville Friday night. 

Prediction: Paint Branch by 14

Northwest (3-4 *) at Quince Orchard (7-0) – The Cougars extended their winning streak to 21 games, downing Gaithersburg 48-8. RB Isaiah Blackman-Boyd ran for 89 yards and 3 TDs on just 4 attempts. The Jaguars remained Kings of Germantown beating Seneca Valley 29-26. One of the biggest rivals in the DMV will go down at the Cougardome in Gaithersburg Friday night in the MoCoShow Game of the Week.    

Prediction: Quince Orchard by 22
