A Message from Superintendent Dr. Monifa B. McKnight: Celebrating the End of a Great School Year!

“Dear MCPS Community,
It has been a truly remarkable year, full of growth, learning and achievement. Our students have worked incredibly hard—from stellar academic performances to outstanding extracurricular achievements, our students have truly demonstrated what it means to be dedicated and passionate about their education. And, of course, none of this would have been possible without the tireless efforts of our teachers, supporting staff and administrators.

As we say goodbye to this school year, I am filled with gratitude and pride for all that we have accomplished, and I cannot wait to see what the future holds for our amazing school community. Here is my video message to the community on this, the last day of the 2022-2023 school year.

Dr. Monifa B. McKnight
MCPS Superintendent of Schools”
