Summary of Events Regarding Fatal Shooting That Occurred Friday

Montgomery County Police has provided a brief summary of events regarding a fatal shooting on Lost Knife Circle in Montgomery Village on Friday afternoon. The full summary can be seen below:

“At approximately 12:26 p.m., Montgomery County Police – 6th District officers responded to the 18300 block of Lost Knife Cir. for the sound of shots fired.  

While on scene, officers received a second call for shots in the 18400 block of Lost Knife Cir. Upon arrival, officers located an 18-year-old male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. He was transported to an area hospital with critical injuries.  

A few moments later, officers responded to the initial location of shots fired, in the 18300 block of Lost Knife Cir. for the report of a male, unknown age, unconscious. The male was pronounced dead on scene.  

At this time, there are no suspects in custody.  This is an active and ongoing investigation. A news release will be distributed once more information becomes available, including the name of the deceased, following proper notification of next of kin.”
