Per MCPD: “At approximately 12:49 p.m., officers received a call for a man unconscious, near the initial call, in the 18300 block of Lost Knife Cir. Upon arrival, officers located Alan Garnica of Gaithersburg, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Despite lifesaving efforts, Garnica was pronounced dead at the scene.
There is no suspect in custody and this is an active and ongoing investigation. Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Major Crimes Division are asking for anyone with a home security system, to review video footage, and contact Major Crimes detectives at (240) 773-5070with any evidence regarding this shooting.
