Apex Vets Has Opened in Wheaton Mall

Westfield Wheaton Mall has announced the opening of Apex Vets, an independent veterinary specialty hospital founded and operated by veterinarians with ties to Montgomery County and Washington, D.C. Opening today, Tuesday November 14, and located at 11060 Veirs Mill Road, Apex Vets boasts a roster of board-certified specialists in surgery, neurology, and anesthesia, as well as an emergency department. Apex Vets empowers their team to strive for continued improvement in everything they do in order to provide the highest-caliber of advanced medicine.

Apex Vets is located across from Dick’s Sporting Goods in the space that was previously home to Sears outlet and will operate with modified weekly hours. Admissions are welcome Monday through Friday from 7am to midnight (12am). The center will be open for stabilization and outpatient treatment on Saturdays from 9am to 4pm. The facility will be closed on Sundays to start, but come 2024, Apex Vets has plans to expand to 24/7 emergency care services. Stay tuned for updated opening hours.

Apex Vets Founder and Managing Partner Dr. Benjamin Donati received his V.M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania. But the proud Terrapin spent his undergraduate years at the University of Maryland. Today he lives in Bethesda with his wife and mismatched dogs, a French bulldog and a Newfoundland puppy. Located just north of the Capital Beltway, Westfield Wheaton Mall is in close proximity to three major thoroughfares and is one of the few regional malls within walking distance of a Washington D.C. Metro station. For more information on upcoming events, new openings, and more at Westfield Wheaton Mall, please visit www.westfield.com/united-states/wheaton.
