Odds On Washington Commanders’ Next Name Released

When ownership of the team changed hands earlier this year, many wondered is there was a chance the new ownership group would change the team’s name. Fuel was added to that fire when ESPN senior writer Don Van Natta Jr. stated on the Rich Eisen Show earlier this year that “There’s a ‘pretty good chance’ the new ownership of the Washington Commanders will change the franchise name and have a ‘complete re-branding’ of the team.”
Now sports betting website, SportsBettingAG, has posted updated odds on the Washington Commanders next name. They can be seen below:

Next Name of Washington NFL
Franchise
Football Team/Club 5/1
Spartans 8/1
Armada 10/1
Magic/Magicians 10/1
Red Hogs 10/1

As you can see, the two previous names the team has already used are both listed in the odds with Washington Football Team (and the Football Club variation) being the favorite at 5:1. Do you think the Commanders will have a new name going into next season? If so, what’s your choice?
