Washington is now one of seven NFL teams with at least a 1% chance at “earning” the number 1 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. ESPN sports analytics writer Seth Walder has included Washington, which now has a 1.1% chance at the number 1 pick in the next NFL draft, as tied for 6th with the Tennessee Titans at a shot at the top pick.
The team dropped to 4-7, and is technically still in play for a wild card playoff spot, but does not look to be trending in that direction. They’ve suffered losses to the Bears, who have the highest shot at the number 1 pick, and two losses to the Giants, who are also ahead of the Commanders on the list. The full list can be seen below.
