The Town of Poolesville has announced that the Halmos Park restroom facilities replacement has been approved.
The 40 Plus year old structure will be reconstructed and modernized to meet today’s building and ADA regulations. Funding for the project includes saved capital contributions and a Community and Parks Grant for $82,500.
As part of this project, the areas surrounding the existing structure will be fenced off and closed to the public. Also, power, which is fed from the existing building will be disconnected from the tennis and basketball courts during the construction period per Montgomery County permitting regulations. The projected completion date is early Spring.
