Approximately 65 Firefighters on the Scene For Early Sunday Morning Fire

Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to a call for a fire at a single family home on the 25300 block of Oak Drive in Damascus at approximately 12:30am Sunday.

According to a 3:03am update by MCFRS Chief Spokesperson Pete Piringer, approximately 65 firefighters responded to the fire and were able to knock it down in 15-20 minutes. All occupants of the home were able to get out without any injuries, but three adults will be displaced due to the fire. Significant damage to the home and a vehicle in the driveway/garage has been reported.
