Victim Assaulted by Four People at Outdoor ATM Saturday Afternoon

On December 16, at approximately 1:20 pm, Takoma Park Police responded to the 1100 block of University Blvd for an assault.

According to police, “The victim was assaulted at the Wells Fargo Bank ATM.  Four unknown male suspects assaulted the victim while at the ATM.  A witness yelled for them to stop and all four suspects fled southbound toward New Hampshire Avenue in a gray Honda Civic with Maryland tags.  The vehicle being driven by the suspects was stolen from the District of Columbia.

One suspect was described as a black male, last seen wearing a black ski mask, gray shirt, blue jeans, and a black vest.  Descriptions of the other three suspects are unknown. The victim was not seriously physically injured.

Lookout information was provided to all surrounding jurisdictions.  This investigation is ongoing. Investigators are asking that anyone with information about this incident, or knows the identities of the suspects, please contact the Takoma Park Police Department at 301-270-1100 and refer to case #230072055. This incident occurred in Ward 6.”
