Caribbean Market Broken Into Twice Early Tuesday Morning

On December 19, at approximately 8:01 am, Takoma Park police responded to the 7500 block of New Hampshire Avenue (Caribbean Market) for a burglary that occurred earlier- twice.

According to police, “Business video revealed two unknown male suspects enter the establishment twice at 1:18 am and 5:41 am and steal property.  Entry was made by removing a wooden board securing the front door to the business.  The suspects are described as:

1)  Hispanic male, last seen wearing blue jeans, black shoes, green blanket draped around shoulders, black sweater with white embroidery on front and gray hood.

2)  Unknown race male last seen wearing blue/white plaid pajama pants, gray/white/black sneakers and a black hooded sweater.

Investigation continues under case #230072511.  Anyone with information about this crime is asked to please call us at 301-270-1100. This incident occurred in Ward 6.”
