
Update: MCPD has cleared the school. The threat has been determined not valid.
According to Montgomery County Police, “Thomas S. Wootton High School is currently being evacuated for the report of a bomb threat.”
Police stated that “Officers are on scene investigating the validity of the threat. More information will be released as it becomes available.”
At 2:11pm, Wootton High School communicated the following, “Wootton High School has evacuated for a reported bomb threat. Students and staff have left the building. Parents are asked to not come to the school at this time. We will provide you with updates as soon as possible.”
Thomas S. Wootton High School is currently being evacuated for the report of a bomb threat.
Officers are on scene investigating the validity of the threat.
