Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to a report of a chimney fire at Salt & Vine on the 3300 block of Olney Sandy Spring Rd shortly before 9pm on Wednesday night.
According to MCFRS Chief spokesperson Pete Piringer, a passerby called to report a chimney fire. Multiple units are on the scene in the area. After checking several commercial chimneys, there was no fire evident. “Steam, soot, tar residue, and other evidence of combustion byproducts were observed, but no fire.”
