NFL Free Agency unofficially opened at noon today, and the Washington Commanders have plenty of money to spend. The team also have the second pick in the 2024 NFL Draft next month and nobody is sure on who the Commanders will take, with the pick likely being a quarterback. Below is a list of odds on who the #2 pick will be, courtesy of the betting website DraftKings:

  1. Jayden Daniels -110
  2. Drake Maye -110
  3. Marvin Harrison Jr. +1000
  4. Caleb Williams +1000
  5. J.J. McCarthy +1800
  6. Michael Penix Jr. +6000
  7. Bo Nix +6000
  8. Laiatu Latu +7500
  9. Joe Alt +7500
  10. Dallas Turner +7500

Heisman Trophy winner Jayden Daniels (LSU) has picked up some steam in recent weeks, now tied with Drake Maye (UNC) who was previously viewed as the favorite to be the second pick in the draft. Marvin Harrison Jr. (Ohio State) is widely considered one of the best wide receiver prospects in recent years and is tied with quarterback Caleb Williams (USC) because Williams is likely to go first to the Chicago Bears. National Champion quarterback J.J. McCarthy (Michigan) is next, followed by a wide margin between him and the next two possibilities– quarterbacks Micael Penix Jr. (Washington) and Bo Nix (Oregon).
