The Montgomery County Division of the Maryland-National Capital Park Police have announced that a 20-year-old man from Silver Spring has been arrested and charged in connection to a sexual assault that occurred on Sunday.
Per the news release: “On March 31, 2024, The Maryland-National Capital Park Police, Montgomery County Division, assisted by The Montgomery County Police Department arrested Darvin Romero, a White, Hispanic, 20-year-old male from Silver Spring, MD, stemming from an incident that occurred on March 31, 2024 at the Burnt Mills East Park 10701 Old Columbia Pike, Silver Spring, MD.
Romero was charged with Sex Offense 4th Degree, inappropriate touching, and related offenses. Investigators would like to know if there are additional victims.
