Rio is partnering with Locally Crafted for the Spring Makers Market on Saturday, May 11 from 11 AM – 5 PM on Grand Corner Avenue (near Dick’s Sporting Goods).
The event will allow people to “Shop Handmade Products from Local Artisans and much more!”
Per the Locally Crafted website, “Soon to reopen at Rio Lakefront in Gaithersburg, Maryland, Locally Crafted is a community space where artists can showcase their unique products. Customers will experience seeing the items in person, rather than through an online store, giving them the opportunity to feel and see the quality in person. Locally Crafted appeals to customers who value unique items and prefer supporting makers from their own community over national corporate big chain stores.
As a female owned small business we are invested in helping to support other small businesses. By carrying only locally made products, we are creating a bridge between local makers and interested customers, enhancing the unique character of our community and helping the local economy by supporting small businesses in the neighborhood.”
