On Monday afternoon, Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to the scene of a crash involving a driver crashing into the front of the recently renovated Baja Fresh in King Farm (video below). Baja Fresh will be open today for online and carry-out orders.
We are told the crash occurred when the driver accidentally accelerated, instead of breaking, driving into the storefront. According to an update by MCFRS Assistant Chief David Pazos, “units arrived to find no injuries, including the driver. Health Dept, Code Enforcement, and Building Representatives were alerted.”
The store recently underwent $150K in renovations and reopened following a very brief closure just last month. This is the only Baja Fresh remaining in Montgomery County.
