Detectives Investigating Sunshine Smiles Dental Care Burglary

Montgomery County Police are investigating the burglary of a dental clinic that occurred earlier this month in Silver Spring.

Per the news release:  Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 3rd District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect who allegedly broke into the Sunshine Smiles Dental Care. Detectives have released photographs of the suspect.

On Friday, April 5, 2024, at approximately 2 p.m., 3rd District officers responded to the dental office, in the 900 block of Bonifant St., for the report of a burglary.

The preliminary investigation by detectives has revealed that the unknown male suspect broke into the office and stole property before leaving. The suspect tried the door handles of other businesses in the area but was not able to get in.

Detectives obtained surveillance photos of the suspect. The suspect is described as a Black male, in his 30s, with a light beard, wearing a black Adidas tracksuit with a grey shirt underneath and white slide Adidas sandals with purple socks.
