33-Year-Old Arrested for First Degree Rape of Minor; Additional Victim’s a Concern

Montgomery County Police have announced the arrest of a 33-year-old man in connection with a burglary and the first-degree rape of a minor that occurred last month.

Per the news release: Eric Bacon was arrested on Friday, April 26, 2024, at approximately 5 a.m., in the 15900 block of Frederick Road by officers on routine patrol, following an investigation by the Montgomery County Department of Police- Special Victim’s Investigations Division (SVID). Detectives are concerned that more victims may not have contacted police.

The investigation by detectives has revealed that on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, Bacon entered the victim’s apartment in the 15000 block of Frederick Road. At approximately 3 p.m., the juvenile victim arrived home to find Bacon inside the residence. Bacon sexually assaulted the victim and then left the residence with an undisclosed amount of stolen property. The victim’s brother arrived home at approximately 7 p.m. and observed Bacon still outside of their residence.
