Montgomery County Police are investigating a double homicide that occurred near on Sunday, May 26, 2024 near Nolte Park.
Per the news release, “At approximately 6:57 p.m., Montgomery County Police – 3rd District and Maryland-National Capital Park Police officers responded to the Nolte Local Park in the 200 block of Denver Rd. in Silver Spring.
Upon arrival, officers located two 20-year-old victims, Quincy Johnson, of Takoma Park, and D’Andre Wint, of Lanham, who were suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Despite lifesaving efforts, Johnson and Wint were pronounced dead at the scene.
At this time, there are no suspect(s) in custody. This is an active and ongoing investigation.
