Update: The Montgomery County Department of Police – Major Crimes Division is actively searching for Emanuel Edward Sewell, a Chevy Chase man wanted in connection with the death of a Maryland Parole and Probation agent. There is a large police presence in the area of the 2800 block of Terrace Dr. in Chevy Chase for a death investigation. The following is a brief summary of events regarding the death investigation in Chevy Chase by Montgomery County Police:
“At approximately 5:54 p.m., Montgomery County Department of Police were called to the 2800 block of Terrace Drive for a check the welfare call.
Officers located a deceased adult male inside of the residence.
The Major Crimes Division is investigating, and the decedent will be transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to determine the cause and manner of death. A news release will be distributed once more information becomes available.”
