
Gordon Ramsay has already opened two restaurants at the Wharf, with his Fish & Chips and Hell’s Kitchen concepts opening in recent years. in 2022, he also announced the impending arrival of the his Street Pizza concept- with plans for The Wharf in DC to be the home of the restaurant’s first United States location. The location is now scheduled to open on Wednesday, June 12th according to the restaurant’s instagram account.
the all-you-can-eat pizza restaurant has taken over the 7,100 SF space at 507 7th St. NW that consists of two floors and combines two previous tenant spaces at 501-507 7th St. NW, a block south of Capital One Arena and across the street from José Andrés’ Jaleo. The restaurant will have over 200 seats and the layout suggests each level will have its own bar, pool table, lounge, kitchen and dining area, per BizJournals.
Ramsay opened the first Street Pizza location in London’s St. Paul neighborhood in April 2018. He has since expanded to six additional locations across in London, one in Edinburgh, Scotland, and a Malaysian location that opened earlier this year. The bottomless pizza is offered for the equivalent of approximately $19 per person in London, but it is unknown if the prices will remain the same at the first U.S. location. Ramsay will offer classics like Margherita pizza, and a variety of toppings like pepperoni, chorizo, and even corn on some of his pizzas. In addition to pizza, the menu features wings, fries, beer, cocktails, and more.
