Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to the 10900blk of Roundtable Ct in Rockville on Wednesday, June 12, for the report of a house fire.
According to MCFRS, the fire originated on the first floor and extended to the attic. The damage is estimated to be approximately $250,000. No human injuries were reported, but one dog was rescued by firefighters and did not survive. A family of six has been displaced.
The cause of the fire is undetermined but believed to be accidental. We will provide an update if additional information becomes available.
