A crash has closed northbound Hungerford Dr. (Rt. 355) at Mannakee St. due to a traffic crash, according to Rockville Police.
Police have stated that traffic is currently being diverted and motorists should seek alternate routes of travel.
According to public safety reporter Cordell Pugh, at “approximately 11:30PM Friday night, a vehicle involved in a crash on MD-355 struck roadside fencing and partially blocked the Red Line tracks. @RockvilleVFD @RockvilleCityPD @MCFRS on scene coordinating vehicle recovery with @WMATA. No significant injuries.”
