Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to the Town Square Garage (Garage 61) on Ellsworth Drive in Downtown Silver Spring at approximately 6:20pm on Monday, July 15, for the report of a fire.
According to Chief Spokesperson for MCFRS Pete Piringer, the fire was located on the upper level of the parking garage and involved six vehicles. The garage was evacuated and there were no injuries reported. There was approximately $80K in damage and the fire has been deemed accidental.
