Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to the scene of a collision involving a truck trailer getting stuck under a bridge on the inner loop of the beltway at River Rd on Sunday morning.
According to MCFRS chief spokesperson Pete Piringer, the truck trailer is stuck under the bridge and a passenger vehicle is also involved in the collision. By the pictures MCFRS had made available, it appears the vehicle struck the back of the stuck trailer.
Some lanes on both the inner and outer loop of the beltway are closed due to the incident. One person has been transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
