The following is a brief summary of events regarding a shooting that occurred the morning of Tuesday, July 23, 2024, in the 2200 block of Bel Pre Road, per Montgomery County Police:
“At approximately 10:55 a.m., 4th District officers responded to the location for the report of a shooting. The preliminary investigation has revealed that two unknown suspects who had just gotten off of a Ride-On bus had a verbal altercation with two victims in a car near the location. A short time later, one of the suspects shot at the victims, striking the victim’s car two times.
Montgomery County Police K-9 responded and canvassed the area. Shells casings were recovered from the scene. No injuries have been reported, and the suspects are not in custody at this time. This is an active and ongoing investigation.”
