Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to a call for a tree falling into a home on the 2600 block of Blaine Dr. in Chevy Chase on Wednesday evening.
As storms quickly rolled through the area, Chevy Chase was one of the hardest hit areas with trees and wires down nearby, closing Connecticut Ave for a few hours from approximately 6:30pm until 9:30pm Wednesday night.
According to MCFRS chief spokesperson Pete Piringer, there were no injuries associated with the tree falling into on Blaine Dr., but as you can see in the photos courtesy of MCFRS there was some property damage.
