Graffiti Removed From Multiple Sites in Bethesda Early Sunday Morning


The official Twitter/X account of the Montgomery County Police (MD) 2nd District-Bethesda announced that several areas of Downtown Bethesda, including Bethesda Elementary School at  7600 Arlington Rd, were “marred by hate speech” early Sunday morning, August 11.

Per @2dCommander: “Huge thank you to our friends @BethesdaUP (Bethesda Urban Partnership). Several sites in the downtown area were marred by hate speech in the early morning hours. Montgomery County Councilmember Evan Glass tweeted Tuesday afternoon, “I’m in touch with our police and school system about this incident. We cannot allow political disagreements to sow hatred and fear within our community.”
