District 4 Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) Commander David Smith shared information regarding a traffic stop in Olney late Wednesday night that led to an arrest and recovery of a gun and fentanyl.
Per Commander Smith, “Late last night , A 4th District specialized team was in Olney and initiated a traffic stop at 108 / Homeland Road. An alert patrol officer, assisting the team, observed a part of this gun on a vehicle occupant.
