Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to a fire at 5100 Crossfield Court, near Braxfield Court, at the Bethesda Park complex in Rockville at approximately 4pm.
The fire occurred on the second story of a three story garden style apartment building. Smoke was showing upon arrival and MCFRS Chief Spokesperson Pete Piringer stated that there was “fire in the walls”, which led to the evacuation of the building. Nearby residents have shared that it appears multiple people will be displaced.
