2024 Harvest Festival Takes Place October 5th

Montgomery Parks announced the 30th annual Harvest Festival that will take place on Saturday, October 5, from 11 a.m.4 p.m., rain or shine, at the Agricultural History Farm Park (18400 Muncaster Road, Derwood).

The event will feature traditional crafts, games, living history demonstrations, music, food and more. Attendees can participate in farm activities, such as candle dipping, tin-smithing, pumpkin painting, a potato scramble and building scarecrows, and enjoy a hayride around the park.

Live music will be provided by Story Tapestries’ jazz artist Alison Crockett and bluegrass stylings of the Hickory Grove Band; stories will be shared by master puppeteer Shroeder Cherry and Maryland’s official Griot, Janice Curtis Greene.

FEE:                    $20 per car, cash only (refreshments, food and some activities have additional cost)
