Aaron Rodgers Praises Jayden Daniels on Pat McAfee Show; Daniels Earns NFC Player of the Week Award

The National Football League announced today that Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels has been named the NFC Offensive Player of the Week for Week 3. Not only did his impressive showing on Monday night earn him the award, but it also earned him some praise from New York Jets quarterback and future Hall of Famer Aaron Rodgers.

While discussing Daniels on the Pat McAfee show; Rodgers said, “What I loved about him is he played from the pocket and stayed on time. When you can do that, you can stick around the league a long time. And then he can run, he can really run, but the key is playing from the pocket.”

Daniels, the 2nd overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, impressed in a 38-33 victory over the Bengals on Monday Night Football. He went 21/23 for 254 yards and two touchdowns through the air, while also rushing for 39 yards and an additional touchdown.
