Spirit Halloween Pushes Opening Date Back to October

Spirit Halloween opened its first Montgomery county location at 30 Grand Corner Ave. in Gaithersburg’s Rio Lakefront in August this year. Its second of three total planned locations, in Rockville, has been postponed until October according to the Spirit Halloween website.

The upcoming Rockville location will be at 1519 Rockville Pike at the space that was previously home to Bed Bath & Beyond. Though it has appeared to be ready to open for a couple weeks, the Spirit website has updated the opening timeframe to October.

Spirit Halloween once again opened in the former Pier 1 Imports location in Rio in early August and announced a third Montgomery County location at 13822 Georgia Avenue in the former Tuesday Morning location in Aspen Hill. The Aspen Hill location is still expected to open by the end of September, per the Spirit website.

New at Spirit last year was a buy online/pickup in-store option, as well as delivery through DoorDash. During the Halloween season, Spirit operates over 1,400 stores in North America. The Spirit Halloween website is open year-round, offering its in-store products online.
