The Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) responded to a domestic homicide in Gaithersburg on Monday, November 4, after receiving a call from a person claiming to have killed their mother
According to MCPD: “6th District officers were dispatched to the 19400 block of Olive Tree Way. Upon arrival, officers located the body of an adult female outside of the residence. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The suspect, who was still present, was taken into custody without incident. The victim has been transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for autopsy, to determine the manner and cause of death.
The name of the victim and suspect will be released following proper notification of next of kin.” We will provide an update if additional information becomes available.
