More revolving sushi has arrived in Rockville as Uzu Revolving Sushi has “soft launched” at 1701 Rockville Pike A6 in The Shops at Congressional Village shopping center (video below).
Per the restaurant, Uzu Revolving Sushi “introduces a new era of dining experience, where traditional Japanese cuisine meets modern innovation. Step into our world of delicious sushi creations and let the flavors transport you to the heart of Japan. Our commitment to quality and authenticity ensures that every dish that glides through our revolving belt is a masterpiece crafted with precision and care.”
Last month, Kura Revolving Sushi opened a half mile down the street at Federal Plaza, bringing revolving sushi back to Montgomery County. Uzu joins Kajiken, Okaeri Japanese Cafe, Kanpai Southeast Asian BBQ and Shabu Shabu Buffet, and more in the shopping center.
The multi-tenant retail shopping center known as The Shops At Congressional Village, a one/story commercial building and a leasehold interest on the first floor of 192 Halpine Rd in Rockville went for $44 million at an auction on Wednesday, October 12th, 2022. The auction was won by the IVEA restaurant group (who owns local restaurants like Gyuzo BBQ, Gong Cha, The Spot, Kyoto Matcha, Lao Sze Chuan, and more) and Chicago-based Windfall Group LLC who we are told plans to add additional restaurants to the shopping center.
