On Sunday at approximately 5pm, Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) were dispatched to a house fire in the 17000blk of Barn Ridge Dr in the Norbeck area (Silver Spring near Olney).
On Sunday Pazos stated, “Crews located a garage on fire and assisted 2 adults and 4 pets out of the home. Crews extinguished the fire and found all occupants uninjured.” On Monday morning, Pazos provided an update stating that there is an estimated $600K in damage to the building and an additional $200K in damage to contents.
Two adults and four pets have been displaced and the fire was possibly electrical in nature.
