The Washington Commanders will be without starting center Tyler Biadasz today in their game against the New Orleans Saints.
Biadasz was announced as inactive after the Commanders listed him as questionable with an illness this morning. Head Coach Dan Quinn and General Manager Adam Peters spoke with Biadasz on the field as he was attempting to work out and it apparently led to the decision to sit today’s game out.
Biadasz signed a three-year deal at $10 million per year this past offseason. He recently turned 27 and was a fourth-round pick in the 2020 draft who completed his rookie contract with the Cowboys. He became a full-time starter in 2021 and was a Pro Bowler in 2022. So far this year, he has been in the top 5 in the NFC in Pro Bowler votes.
Other inactive include recently acquired receiver KJ Osborne who the team claimed off of waivers, Jeff Driskel (emergency QB), CB Michael Davis, LB Dominique Hampton, K Zane Gonzalez, and DT Phidarian Mathis.
