On January 1, at approximately 10:12 pm, Takoma Park Police responded to the 6900 block of New Hampshire Avenue for the “report of a strong-arm robbery that had just occurred” at 7-Eleven.
According to Takoma Park Police, “An unknown Black male, last seen wearing a black coat, camouflage ski mask and red and black shoes walked into the 7-11, walked behind the counter and demanded cash from two registers. The victim/employee complied. The suspect fled on foot prior to police arrival.
A canvass of the area was conducted with negative results. A lookout was broadcast to all surrounding jurisdictions. This investigation is ongoing.
